The hotel's historical charm. It was also surprisingly accessible for senior guests.
More staff at breakfast service would be helpful.

The location is perfect, right next to the bridge of sighs, close to San Marco square, the hotel itself is great, beautiful buildings, good atmosphere. Room is beautiful, well decorated in traditional style.
The breakfast itself was fine but the space is too small. We also had lunch in the restaurant. Eating was fine but scandalously far too expensive. Staff during lunch was also (a bit) arrogant.

Our room was nice and opulent and had an excellent view of the canal. Delightful and great breakfast was waiting for us in restaurant and food was fresh.

Here's my take on it
Every moment spent here was a dream come true! The beauty of this historical hotel is amazing. I stayed in a luxury room with all necessary amenities. The staff was charming and attentive. Breakfast on the terrace offered a fine view and delicious options, albeit rich. Cannot wait for a longer stay next time!

The location of the hotel, spacious rooms friendly reception.
The downside is that when you sit in the lobby you have to walk to the bar to order a drink. Given the prices and their status, it is more important to look at the guests.

The hotel is grand old and beautiful historical with caring staff at both the reception desk and the Concierge desk. The breakfast is generous, the room is great value for money and well-maintained with a balcony. Rooftop restaurant on the premises is fantastic!

The views from the rooftop restaurant were fine, and
The outdoor seating added to the enchanting atmosphere of Venice. The service felt a bit disorganized, which detracted from the otherwise lovely dining experience.

I was disappointed with the service at breakfast. Despite the good weather, the terrace was closed, a huge letdown. After insisting, they finally opened it, but we were not given a prime table despite the balcony being empty. To make matters worse, we wanted to check out the dinner menu but were rudely denied access to the balcony area we were entitled to, because dinner was being served.

Fine views and a perfect location!
The room had an amazing view of the Venetian Lagoon, and the rooftop restaurant was so pretty, especially at breakfast. The staff were super nice, and the concierge helped us out a ton. Just wish the bathroom floor was a bit cleaner. All in all, a great experience!

Great location and beautiful setting, all staff equally friendly, beautiful view from the restaurant on roof terrace.
Room too small for the price. No coffee machine in the room and no iron. Not allowed by fire department according to hotel staff but I think it is commercial blabla.

a beautiful hotel, breathes history and staff provides good service but that is also possible considering the price and five stars. Location is perfect. Spacious rooms and bathroom
In the rooms, you can have a lick of paint against a little overdue maintenance. The shower (two items!) could be better. The jet is not perfect and the water not of constant temperature. It is impossible in a 5 star hotel.
